My secret to happiness is you.
My secret to happiness is you.
Your heart is my sanctuary, your love is my refuge.
There are very few human beings who receive the truth, complete and staggering, by instant illumination. Most of them acquire it fragment by fragment, on a small scale, by successive developments, cellularly, like a laborious mosaic.
Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.
When I am with you, we stay up all night. When you’re not here, I can’t go to sleep. Praise God for those two insomnias! And the difference between them.
When a girl tells you she hates you because you broke her heart, she actually still loves you with all of its broken pieces.

So if we love someone without knowing why, we can assume that that person is somehow similar to someone else whom we loved before, even if we don’t know precisely how.
Rene Descartes

You could make love to somebody without having sex. You could have sex with anybody, literally anybody, but you can’t make love with just anybody. They are two completely different things, yet people often interchange these words. Making love is to have that moment, that one moment you’ve been waiting for your entire life, where nothing else matters in the world when you are just laying there in your thinnest shirt—legs and arms intertwined, fingers interlaced, as if your skin was fused together. You let go…completely, desperately, unequivocally…to the one who lives in that moment with you, for it is that moment where you are one in the same; where you actually are loving yourself because you love that person. If you have experienced it, you would understand what I mean. It changes the way you look at love. It changes the way you feel things, the way you feel people. It’s because you know that love why you can’t help but keep searching for that one moment because you know that anything less will never settle in your heart.
Give love to those who don’t deserve it because they need it the most.

This is an extremely moving (& triggering for some) video about anti Gay and Lesbian discrimination over the past 60 years. This video has gone viral over the past few days, and it was made in promotion for a documentary called Second Class Citizens.
If this girl can give a soul to those who have lived without one, if she can create the sense of beauty in people whose lives have been sordid and ugly, if she can strip them of their selfishness and lend them tears for sorrows that are not their own, she is worthy of all your adoration, worthy of the adoration of the world.
Love--the way I see it, feel it, and live it.
